My foster mom is teaching me how to sit, stay and come. I can sit really good now but staying is a bit harder because I know she has treats in her hand. I'm sure I'll get it. My foster brother Poco is also helping me learn how to come which I'm getting pretty good at too (because I'm a terrier I sometimes ignore her..that is my trick on her!). I'm getting more confident as each day comes around and I"m not that weary of strangers. When I am, I just bark at them and let them have it. My foster mom is trying to get me comfortable with the neighbors that come over and visit so I don't bark at them too much. Someone has to keep the neighbors in place!
I'm loving the dog park and all the new dogs I'm meeting. I get a chance to go turbo and chase after and be chased which gives me lot's of exercise that I need. I decided I am a high energy dog so if you are thinking of adopting me, make sure you have fast running shoes or have time to exercise me every day. Sometimes I am so tired after the dog park that I sleep all the way home then curl up somewhere near my foster mom and fall asleep. (I always keep one eye or ear open in case she gets up to move so I can follow her and make sure she is okay)
